Nolan Miller is a writer and director based in Chicago. Currently pursuing his Bachelor of Fine Arts at DePaul University, he has written and directed two short films. His interest in storytelling goes back as far as he remembers when he used to gather a paper and pencil and create fictional worlds with monsters. During his middle school years, he made a series of stop motion shorts with his action figures.

Today, Nolan uses the Midwest as the basis for his stories to focus on themes of family, mental health, nature, and the supernatural. He draws inspiration from history and folklore and finds ways to connect them with the real world. His favorite place to film is the city of Chicago. A place that offers a wide range of character to each setting.

Nolan enjoys working on small scale indie projects. He's taken on numerous roles from sound mixing to assistant directing. He enjoys meeting different people on set and many have collaborated with him on his own projects. When Nolan isn't writing or making movies, you can see him traveling, spending time with family, or playing and talking about video games.
